Appointments for permanent makeup require a $100 deposit to hold your time slot. Your deposit invoice will be sent via email or text. Unless otherwise agreed upon with your artist, unpaid deposits will cancel your appointment. Your deposit amount will be deducted from your final total. In the event of a no show without a call or cancellation, your deposit will not be refunded. We appreciate 24 hours notice in the event of cancellation so that your artist can fill their time slot with a client from our wait list.

If you are concerned about any complication or allergic reaction, we recommend a patch test to see how your skin will react to the pigment and anesthetic. Patch tests should be performed about 5-7 days prior to the procedure, however in some very rare cases, some people do experience latent reactions to pigment.
All pigments used by Boss Brow Studio are cosmetic grade and hypoallergenic and should not disturb most skins.

Before Your Lip Procedure

*If you suffer from cold sores, please see physician for prescription such as Valtrex to avoid breakout. We recommend RX 7 days prior, day or treatment, and 7 days after (14 days) for best protection.
*Exfoliate lips gently 3-4 days prior to appointment.
*Keep hydrated! Drink plenty of water and use a hydrating lip balm.
*Lip filler or botox must be done 1 month prior.
*Discontinue products with AHA/BHA and RetinA 5 days prior.
Avoid drinking alcohol, excessive caffeine, ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil, etc at least 48 hours.
**If you are prescribed blood thinners, speak to your physician for guidance.
*Avoid lipstick/lipstain before procedure as they contain alcohol and will dry lips.
After Lip Procedure
Follow after care instructions given by your artist with the supplied after care ointment.
Lips will feel dry and be slightly flaky for about a week.
Avoid spicy and hot foods and liquids for the first 24 hours.
Avoid touching the lips with food, eat foods with fork to avoid lip area.
Use straws provided by your artist to avoid hot liquids touching the lips.
No lipstick/lipstain on the lips until completely healed.
